yes, a conventional sunset…

As we say goodbye to winter and welcome spring for another year, and as an antidote to all the abstracted pictures I’ve been posting, here is a nice straightforward sunset picture.

As the year progresses, this west-facing beach sees the sun apparently sinking in to the ocean, but as we advanced throughout winter it has been casting the last light from behind the pyramid-shaped Cambeak headlands. On this occasion, it was up-lighting a gathering weather front with the last golden glow.
