A showery day is a good time to head up to the clifftops and see what drama the weather is creating. It was creating quite a lot, as it happens.
You probably need to zoom in a little to see how glassy calm the sea was, with it even reflecting the passing clouds, but the approaching shower was going to give that a bit of a shake up.

Breathtaking. The sea almost looks frozen, and how perfect with the shine of the road. I would never get tired of that view!

It’s a secret one too… the lane is a back way off the tourist-preferred routes (and there are no shops, car parks or beaches!) so even on the most popular public holidays, when all the usual hot spots are rammed, I can easily park up and walk up here with little bother.
