I was doodling around on the social site Mastodon when I saw a very familiar sight. Someone had posted a shot of the fabulous Millook cliffs, and talked in his post about how he had waited for a woman walking up the beach to enter the frame, to give an idea of the scale of the geological process visible there.
It caused me to remember I had taken my own images of these cliffs, but instead of waiting for an unknown person to enter the scene, I had taken my own scale-adding device – my wife – with me.
I may be in trouble later…

What a beautiful woman 🤩

Saved. I just have to agree with this, then I won’t be in trouble for calling you a scale-adding device…

I often take a wife along with me, too. You never know when they might come in useful.

I’m not saying anything… she’s normally the first to visit my posts these days (see above)…

Wow, what an imposing landmark (the cliffs, not your wife😉)!

You see, I would have got a slap for that (probably because I wouldn’t have said the bit you put in brackets…) 😉

That’s huge!
The cliffs, not the woman. Whew.

I admit, it was definitely worth a slap when I told her that was her best side…

She was wearing the perfect outfit for it too! The cliffs are truly awesome; would love to experience them myself one day.

Like me, they’re very old and very creased. I’m saying nothing about my wife.
