I noticed that I have never actually posted the full version of the picture I use for my profile image.
It was taken in St Ives, Cornwall, a few years ago, and as you might quickly gather from the fact I took it, the man and dog in it are not me and my dog, although I admit that I have not made any effort to dissuade anyone from that assumption if they have it
I just like the idea of stories that might interpreted from it. Like, for example, that it’s of me and my dog.

I tried tweeting this but the photo doesn’t reproduce, which sort of makes a tweet pointless. Probably Elon Musk’s doing.

Well, thank you for the thought anyway, Ellen. Musk can’t get his hands on them – can he?

Probably he can, but I expect he’s got enough on his head right now. May it all weigh him down.

Such a great photo. I’m glad you explained since I would instantly assume this was from the alternate universe where your dog is black 🙂

Thank you, Sun. It’s ying and yang, my dog can’t be white without this one being black. 😉

It’s a charming picture, even if it isn’t you!

It’s charming BECAUSE it’s not me. 😉

Yep, and he and his dog will forever be waiting there, looking out for who or what they’re waiting for too.
